Functional Responsibilities

Safe Driving Habits. Responsible for safely hauling and delivering products.

  • Utilizes defensive driving practices.
  • Adheres to company policies for Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Maintains an alert awareness of potential jobsite hazards.
  • Maintains an alert awareness of potential terminal hazards.

Efficient Delivery Practices. Driver maintains a sense of urgency throughout the day to safely and efficiently deliver product. The driver is always ready to load and unload at scheduled times.

Truck Operations & Maintenance. Properly maintains equipment by conducting the proper pre- and post-trip inspections, mechanical write-ups and performs necessary preventive maintenance including greasing and cleaning of equipment. Physically capable to properly operate the truck, pump and hoses per manufacturer’s recommended guidelines.

Customer Service. Maintains a positive attitude in all interactions with customers. Actively monitors and secures load to meet customer and quality requirements. Anticipates and fulfills all customer needs possible, alerting management to potential customer concerns.

Professional Appearance. Maintains truck and other equipment in a consistently clean condition. The interior and exterior of the truck, pumps and hoses are clean and prepared for their next use.

General Responsibilities

Safety. Operates truck and pump in a manner that ensures compliance with all applicable company, state and federal safety regulations.

Administrative. Follows required Company and DOT reporting procedures, including timecards and DVIR books. Drivers are responsible to make sure current licenses, tags and permits are available.

Procedures. Abides by Company Standard Operating Procedures, alerting management of any potential improvements to SOPs.

Consistent Attendance. Reports for work at the scheduled time/place.


  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with Tanker Endorsement.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Flatbed Experience Preferred.
